Through this body of work, I have been contemplating various facets of identity. My pieces are facilitated through socially engaged performance pieces, as well as functional sculptures. These pieces address a range of focuses: from exploring my personal and cultural identities and inquiring about others’ identities to asking my audience to contemplate our values and histories as a society, to exploring how we can revitalize ancient practices through a contemporary lens as artists and people.
